Established in 1850, IMS is a statewide professional association representing more than 6,000 Iowa physicians, residents, and medical students. We work to advance the practice of medicine through advocacy, education, and engagement with physicians throughout Iowa to ensure the highest quality of care for the patients they serve.

On Friday, the IMS Board of Directors welcomed The Iowa Clinic CEO, Ben Vallier, and McFarland Clinic CEO, Andrew Perry for an important discussion on the issues shaping independent practices in Iowa.
