We celebrated National Arbor Day a day early by welcoming students from Greenwood School to our campus! With 42 second graders and 66 third graders joining us, the courtyard was full of energy, learning, and fun.
We set up five interactive tents for the students to enjoy, including a coloring station, a scavenger hunt, Arbor Day education, a tree potting station where each child planted their own tree to take home, and a lemonade and cookie tent to top it all off.
This event was a meaningful opportunity to invest in future generations. Each student left with their own seedling—something they can nurture, watch grow, and learn from as they develop a deeper appreciation for caring for our environment.
At Wesley on Grand, intergenerational connections are at the heart of what we do. Bringing together students, residents, and team members created special moments of shared learning, laughter, and purpose. These experiences not only enrich lives today but help build understanding, respect, and connection across generations.
A big thank you to our team members and residents who volunteered their time and energy to make this event such a success. It truly reflects our commitment to creating a healthier, greener, and more connected community—for today and for the future. 🌱
