SESSION HIGHLIGHT: FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS FROM NEUROSCIENCE TO TREATMENT

This session will explore Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) by defining FND and its subtypes and examining the neuroscience behind symptom onset and recovery. Whether you're new to FND or looking to strengthen your clinical approach, this session offers valuable insights to support improved patient outcomes.

SESSION HIGHLIGHT: PANEL QUESTION AND ANSWER - SEEING THE WHOLE PICTURE: REFLECTIONS ON BRAIN, BALANCE, AND VISION INTEGRATION

Take part in this interactive question-and-answer session exploring how the brain, vestibular system, and visual system work together to support balance and spatial orientation. Panelists will respond to audience questions about multisensory integration, common points of dysfunction, and the clinical challenges that arise when these systems fall out of sync. This open discussion offers attendees the opportunity to deepen their understanding through real-world examples, clarify complex concepts, and gain practical insights that can be applied directly to patient care.

Join us on January 17-18, 2026, for the "Iowa Vestibular Symposium" CME Conference.

The cost to attend is $350 for clinicians, $175 for full-time health sciences students. Participate in person at DMU32 Health and Business Complex, Olsen Center, or virtually via Zoom.
