Our room is finished except art and curtains.

Drywall is almost done in the rest of the space. It’s so exciting to see it starting to take shape.

Start with a deep clean, especially around the front door. Repair broken items and throw out damaged items.
​
Don't forget the little things like throwing out old receipts or fixing that loose drawer handle.
​
Journal what you are grateful for this year and your goals and intentions for the New Year.
​
Clean, declutter and repair with the intention of bringing fresh energy and support for your goals and intentions into your home.
​
Go back to your journal throughout the year to see the shifts in your life and make adjustments as needed.

There are several obvious practical and moral issues with generative A.I.

Unauthorized use of people’s art and writing.

Massive energy and water use.

People’s jobs being replaced.

Dumbing down people’s thinking skills.

Those are all valid.

AND. As a spiritual person, energy worker and a creative, there’s another less obvious reason I won’t use it.

It doesn’t carry the energy and essence of a person or their creations.

No matter how much of your writing you feed into it, it will never convey your true essence and frequency.

There’s always a subtle distortion and deadening.

If you’re sensitive to energy, you will be able to sense this.

When I create art, write a book, write poetry, my energy, my spirit and the energy of that project is coming through me and is infused into the work.

I want people to feel that, to take that in, to be transformed by receiving that essence.

That’s just not possible with A.I.

I was honored to be asked to perform a sound bath for a holiday staff retreat this week.

Most of the participants had never experienced one. It was amazing to witness their experiences.

Hopefully, they’ll be inspired to try more of these kinds of experiences.

Yesterday I was doing an intense distance healing for a client over the phone.

Both of my cats sat on my lap and one of hers was sitting with her. When the session was over, they left.

They were helping to hold the energetic container and stabilize our energy during the session.

Animals are very attuned to energy and will “help” with energy healing and space clearing.

Pets cuddle up when we’re sick or stressed,sending healing to help us recover.

When I go to people’s homes to do energy work, their pets are right there, helping.

We often underestimate animals and think they don’t know as much as we do because they can’t speak our language.

In reality, they are much more attuned to the world around us than we are, sensing energies, spirits, even our thoughts and feelings.

Once you take the time to observe this, you’ll see it everywhere.

When I was growing up, I loved drawing and painting.

I created detailed pencil or ink drawings and watercolors of plants, landscapes and people.

🎨🖌️🫟

I majored in art in college.

That’s where I lost an important part of myself.

I started comparing myself to the other art students. Didn’t think I my work was as good as theirs.

Comparison is a huge problem for creatives and I let it sabotage me completely.

After graduating, I changed direction and worked in a completely different field for 40 years.

During that time, I probably only created 5-6 pieces of art.

I bought art supplies several times, but they sat a drawer for years until I finally donated them to a local college.

Since I started working with energy, I’ve gradually been freeing myself of my old limitations.

My creativity started to come back and three years ago, I found myself writing poetry, blog posts, and started writing a book.

And the best part, wanting to create art again.

I found myself being called to create abstract paintings, something I’d never done before.

They flowed through me, including channeled calligraphy to infuse the paintings with different energies: healing, unconditional love, abundance.

My spirit guides would show me an image of the overall look and feel and I would follow that.

If I tried create something through logic, it never looked right. I had to paint over it and wait for the flow to come through.

I’m so grateful to have my creativity back and share these healing paintings with the world.

In May 2019, I left my career in higher education to be an energy healer

The roots of this major life change reach back into my childhood. I was highly intuitive, sensitive to energy and could sense the presence of spirits. I loved animals and nature and spent a lot of time caring for sick animals on our farm.

Those kinds of things weren’t really acceptable in mainstream society. So, for many years I set my intuitive and healing abilities to the side. I eventually ended up in a university working in international education because I could advocate for the students and make a difference in their lives.

In 2012, a close friend introduced me to energy healing and I decided to take a certification program in Eden Energy Medicine. As soon as I took the first class, I fell in love with energy work. I could use my intuition and ability to sense energy. I could change people’s lives in ways I didn’t think were possible. Improve health. Reduce pain. Shift mental and emotional blocks. A couple of years later, I started working with Biofield Tuning, and energy clearing of homes and businesses and expanded my ability to transform people’s lives in even more ways.

But I still had a lot of my own mental and emotional blocks to clear. I believed that I had to work a 9-5 job to make a living. I stayed in my job for 22 years and kept my energy work as a small side business. I was worried that people might find energy work strange, and kept myself small, not fully stepping into all my potential abilities.
