WOW WOW WOW!!!

It’s been less than 24 hours since we posted our Make-A-Wish fundraising events and can I just say WOW!! This community and the small businesses within it just amaze me!! Talk about coming together to support a great cause and understanding an impact we can all make when we work together!!

Hi Friends - Chris and Michele from Lucky Gal here

On Sunday, May 3rd, we’re hosting a special tattoo flash event to support Make-A-Wish, with a goal of $15,000. As parents and longtime supporters of our communities, this cause means so much to us. Right now, nearly 300 children in Iowa are waiting for their wish to come true, and due to funding cuts and other things outside the organizations control they are struggling to make these wishes happen.

We are also putting together a special event T-shirt that will be available for sale that day. If you own a business and would like a way to help, for $250 we will add your logo to the shirt and add your name to our promotions leading up to the event.

If you’d like to be a part of something great, please send us a message. Timing is tight on this one so we would need Venmo/check and logo no later than this Friday, April 24th to ensure we have enough time to print. Any questions please reach out to Chris or Michele. We would love to have our community come together and make a difference when its needs most. Thank you for always supporting Lucky Gal and the causes that mean to much to all of us.

This weekend reminded us why we love what we do. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 2nd Annual Diamonds and Donations Gala. From every tattoo, donation, share, and kind word — you helped make a real difference in Des Moines!! It’s because of all of YOU that the Foster Cares Fund is available to provide mental health therapy services FREE of charge in the Des Moines area.

We are so incredibly grateful to be part of a community that always shows up, gives back, and supports one another. After 15 years in business, moments like this still mean everything to us.

To our amazing artists who donated their time to such a great cause, and to every single person who got a tattoo in support of mental health services — thank you for helping us turn art into something even bigger.

And we’re just getting started, so stay tuned for our next charity event benefiting Make-A-Wish on Sunday, May 3rd. We can’t wait to come together and make even more magic happen for the kiddos in our communities.
