Representative Brian Lohse met with Rock Valley Physical Therapy staff, along with three of the region’s clinic managers. Representative Lohse was eager to hear key topics and asked thoughtful questions about how the House can best support the therapy professions. The RVPT team also had great questions for Rep. Lohse, prompting further discussion on how legislation can better integrate with and serve the communities it represents.

They strongly encourage all practitioners to reach out to their local legislators and set up a meet-and-greet. It was a fun and engaging experience—and a great reminder that our legislators are regular people just like us, so there’s no need to feel intimidated!

The WC office and staff welcomed Senator Guth for a casual roundtable discussion with our Physical and Occupational Therapists. The visit allowed for open discussion about access to therapy services, patient care, and insurance.

We appreciated the Senator's time, thoughtful discussion and questions, and the interest he showed regarding the important work of our therapists.
