hi everybody !

it’s been a wild start to the new year over here. so much to recap from last year & the last SEVEN years doing yoga in Des Moines!

i recently accepted a leadership position with Life Time Des Moines! I am now their Studio Leader - Director of Group Fitness. I was at a pivotal point to either open up a new space, or take my career on a new path. i am so excited to grow & be apart of the life time community! it was a very tough decision as this means i wont be able to be in our community as much as I used to be. i will still be providing donation based classes that help our community & will represent Life Time doing so!

this journey has brought me the most special, amazing humans into my life & i am forever grateful. i want you to know i am proud of what we have built, what we have healed & how we continue to grow. every flow, hug, laugh & cry has brought me joy that i can’t describe. this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you around & come flow with me at life time! ❤️

Anyone who isn’t embarrassed of who they were last year probably isn’t learning enough. We evolve because life demands it of us. Accepting this is part of the human contract: to look back kindly on earlier versions of ourselves, while gently resolving to keep going, to be better, to grow beaver, and to love deeper. This is how we become who we were always meant to be.

Our houseless neighbors still sleep outside , often times with their pets as many shelters don’t allow animals. It’s time for us to come together & help our community! We stand behind .mutual.aid & will always help where we can. You can help by coming to a fun yoga flow & donate how you can!

Donation includes class + delicious coffee bar - please bring mug with lid! Sign-up is required.
Mats & props are provided with your class purchase but you are welcome to bring your own! Free street parking

Really excited for our fundraiser for .mutual.aid sunday! bring a donation of winter clothes, sleeping bags, tents , etc or money to go towards propane & other supplies! Yoga & Co offers private lessons, group lessons, private events & parties. All people of all abilities and genders are welcome to begin or continue their yoga journey. We use the word journey because the practice of Yoga has no beginning, end or goal. “Come as you are,” in this moment.

Practicing yoga is all about empowering everyone to honor their bodies in their yoga practice. There is no right or wrong in Yoga, it is whatever your body needs on that day. It changes daily and it is important to listen.

Perfection isn’t a part of Yoga. I believes yoga is an ongoing practice, not a task to perfect and complete. There’s no need to be perfect every day and I want your workout to match your mood.

I am a big believer in the power of positive thought and using yoga as a way to strengthen the mind as well as the body. I want everyone who takes a class to walk away in bliss of a calm body and mind. I am constantly striving to be a better human and Yoga gives me the tools I need to do just that !
