Texts like this mean the world to me.
Not because it’s praise — but because it confirms the impact goes deeper than reps, speed, or strength. It’s about character.
As a coach, I’m not afraid to have hard conversations. I’m not afraid to rock the boat. If I see a weakness — mentally, emotionally, or physically — I’m going to attack it and help your child see it too. That’s my responsibility. That’s the standard.
Athletic ability will only take you so far. Nobody cares how talented you are if your body language and attitude are terrible. Who you are matters more than how fast you run or how high you jump.
Great parents understand that their child is a work in progress — just like they are. Growth is the goal. No matter how athletic or uncoordinated you are, there is always room to improve.
I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity to partner with parents who trust me to pull the best out of their child — not just as an athlete, but as a person.
Life isn’t about being better than everyone else. That’s just noise.
It’s about becoming THE BEST VERSION OF YOU.
Work hard. Stay consistent. Keep that growth mindset. 😤💪🏼👊🏼
