Came across this quote the other day by Plato and I felt compelled to share because of how true it is in my opinion today more than ever. Evil is rampant in our world because sinful men are afraid of the light. It then reminded me of another quote from a book that shaped my life more than any other book I’ve read.

85 pounds down.

Morgan isn’t just a client — she’s my neighbor and was my VERY first client before I even technically opened my doors. Watching her transformation has been nothing short of incredible.

She’s lost weight before… but like so many people, it always came back.

Warm welcome to Brody - had his 1st session today!! He’s looking to work on speed + a majority of focus on strength. He has very little experience lifting which excites me as it provides the opportunity to light a fire that lasts a lifetime! 😤

Having kids train isn’t always about performance. It’s about teaching them that doing hard things creates resilience that overflows into every area of your life. It’s also about the importance of moving their bodies & prioritizing their own personal health as a lifestyle 💪🏼💯 LET’S GOOO 🔥

Young man was putting in WORK last night 😤😮‍💨 threw some lateral explosiveness drills at him along with working on quick feet ⚡️

Training quick feet increases overall speed by enhancing the nervous system's ability to fire muscles faster, boosting acceleration, and reducing ground contact time. It improves coordination, agility, and balance, allowing for faster changes of direction, better, more efficient strides, and improved reaction times in sports.

Commitment has no finish line.
You don’t “arrive” at discipline. You live it.

Training your body isn’t a 12-week challenge — it’s a lifestyle. A daily decision. A quiet war.

Why don’t we hear more sermons on gluttony or health in general?
Why is overindulgence normalized but discipline mocked?
Why is honoring your body called “vain,” but neglecting it called “relatable”?

I’m no theologian. But I do know the enemy comes to lie, steal, kill, and destroy — and he’s subtle.
He doesn’t always show up with chaos.
Sometimes he shows up with convenience. With sugar. With addiction. With comfort.

Overindulgence. Food addiction. Chronic illness. Self-hate.
That’s not just physical. That’s spiritual warfare.

The body is a temple. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
Not a storage unit. Not a landfill. A dwelling place.

And if my Father’s Spirit lives here,
why wouldn’t I train it, strengthen it, steward it well?

Call me extreme.
Call me dramatic.
But I refuse to believe the quiet destruction of bodies and confidence through food and laziness is accidental.

Commitment has no finish line.
Pick up the weights.
Go for the walk.
Put down the excess.

Honor God with your body.
