"Do ICL halos go away? The answer overwhelmingly is yes."

It’s common to notice glare or halos after ICL surgery, especially early on. In most cases, these symptoms improve over the first few weeks to a couple of months as the eyes heal and the brain adapts to the lens. Some patients adjust faster, others take a bit longer.

Dr. Drew Dickson explains is that glare and halos are not typical long term.

Photo — light. Refractive — how your eye bends that light. Keratectomy — reshaping the cornea. Eye surgery surprises. *Good* ones!

Most people walk into laser vision correction expecting a long procedure and a slow recovery. What they tell us afterward is almost always the same.

First, how fast the procedure goes. LASIK, SMILE, and PRK are ten minutes or less per eye. Second, how quickly vision comes back. Most patients are seeing clearly the next morning, driving themselves to their follow-up, and are back to their normal routine within days.
