Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Rehabilitation Care, Long-term Skilled Care. Ramsey Village offers beautiful and spacious Independent Living Apartments. The apartments offer great amenities, including a full kitchen, community laundry room, locked storage space, cable television and access to Ramsey Village’s lovely common areas. Ramsey Village offers 41 private, unfurnished Residential Care rooms. The Residential Care division offers a personal shower, medium-sized refrigerator, and Cable television. Nursing staff is available 24/7 to assist residents with medication management, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks. The Assisted Living Memory Care unit provides specialized care for residents with the beginning stages of Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Ramsey Village offers 10 private, unfurnished, one bedroom/one bathroom spaces with access to an enclosed courtyard and garden. The division also offers a private bathroom, private dining area, and lovely common area with kitchenette. The Assisted Living Memory Care division provides a homelike set-up with engaging activities and round-the-clock nursing staff. The Memory Care Unit at Ramsey Village provides services to residents with Alzheimer’s disease. Ramsey Village offers both private and semi-private rooms in the Memory Care unit. Residents will be provided with a secured and safe environment with round-the-clock nursing care. The Memory Care unit offers a private dining area, a quiet room, specialized activities, and private courtyard and picnic area. The Health Care Center offers furnished, private & semi-private rooms to residents. The Health Center offers short-term stays (post hospital) with physical, occupational, and speech therapies provided. Rehabilitative and therapy services are provided on-site at Ramsey Village.

Today residents and family members had fun getting their picture taken with Mr and Mrs Claus. Real photos were printed right after the photo was taken!

They also enjoyed our Hot Cocoa Bar, cupcakes and ice cream and live music from Vintage Cafe.

How long have you been a physical therapist?

Why did you choose physical therapy?
I grew up in therapy, as my mom owned her own therapy company. It's all I've ever wanted to do.
What do you love most about being a physical therapist?
I love the hands on approach and teaching, to help people get maxium rehab potential
Why did you choose Ramsey?
I have always heard that Ramsey is amazing place to work. I'm so happy I got the opportunity to join the team.
Tell us a little about yourself...
I live on horse farm outside of Des Moines. I enjoy barrel racing and spending time with my 3 daughters and my granddaughter.

Lucy graduated from Ramsey's Homeward Bound Therapy Program! She enjoyed the wonderful care from the Ramsey Staff. Her favorite activity was the weekly ice cream social. She especially enjoyed the turtle ice cream.

It’s ‘Christmas Spirit Week’ here at Ramsey Village! Lots of activities happening this week.

Yesterday we watched the movie White Christmas, while munching on Peppermint Bark popcorn.

Today the Red Hat Ladies enjoyed lunch while listening to Christmas music.

We ❤️ seeing our residents smile and enjoy the Holiday season!
