Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary who inspired change and opened our eyes to the power of equality, justice and love. His dream continues to guide us as we work to build a brighter, clearer future for all.

Let’s celebrate his life by seeing the world through the lens of compassion and understanding.

Glaucoma is often called the silent thief of sight because it usually has no early symptoms. Vision loss can happen slowly. Once it’s gone, it can’t be restored.

That’s why regular eye exams are so important. A comprehensive eye exam can detect glaucoma before noticeable vision changes occur, helping protect your sight for the long term.

Early detection saves vision. If it’s been a while since your last exam, now is the time to schedule.

👉 Call us to schedule an exam today.

🎉 Ring in the New Year safely!

As you celebrate, keep these quick eye safety tips in mind:
1️⃣ Be cautious with fireworks
Watch from a safe distance and leave the lighting to trained professionals.
2️⃣ Watch out for champagne corks
Corks can fly up to 50 mph! Point bottles away from yourself and others, and open slowly.
3️⃣ Use confetti cannons carefully

Handheld or air-powered poppers can cause eye injuries if used too close to others. Protect your eyes and enjoy a bright, safe start to the new year! 🥂🎆

November is Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month.

People with diabetes have a higher risk of developing serious eye conditions—including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts.

This month and every month, we encourage those living with diabetes to take proactive steps to protect their vision. A comprehensive dilated eye exam is one of the best ways to catch problems early and preserve sight. 👁️💙

🎃 Happy Halloween! As you get ready to Trick-or-Treat this evening, remember to keep your vision safe.

👁️ Avoid costume contact lenses that aren’t prescribed by your eye doctor.
🎭 Make sure masks don’t obstruct your vision or create tripping hazards.
🎨 Use face paint instead of sharp or irritating makeup near the eyes.
🔦 Carry a flashlight or glow sticks while trick-or-treating to see clearly.

Stay safe and have a fang-tastic time! 🧡🦇

What an incredible day at the St. Louis VisionWalk!

We had a fantastic time joining our EyeCare Partners teammates to support the Foundation Fighting Blindness and raise awareness for sight-saving research.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and showed their support — together, we’re helping move vision research forward.
