🚨 Big kindness energy in Des Plaines this weekend! 🚨

Yesterday, the Des Plaines Lions Club and Generations at Oakton teamed up to create over 100 Kindness Cards for neighbors facing housing insecurity that will receive meals through the Loving Lunches program.

Volunteers spent the afternoon swapping stories, sharing laughs, and pouring creativity into handwritten notes. The result? A powerful burst of encouragement headed to unhoused individuals later this year - look how excited Joan was to show off her creations!
