Yes Bella, I'll share my mat with you.
(❤️🐕She Usually respects the doggy gate that is propped up when I'm teaching online. But sometimes, she like to just jump the gate and crash the party!)
➡️For me, this time of year is rough. Winter in the Midwest is dark, and cold and long. ❄️
I am aware of my low energy, and I am relying on all of my tools to help me through this season!

Making some time for movement helps to energize me when I'm feeling down, or ease my mind when I'm feeling anxious.

Sitting down with my calendar, mapping out the week.
Coordinating pick ups and drop offs.🚙
Planning meals, counting to make sure we have enough bread to make sandwiches for a few days (anyone else doing "bread math" tonight?!)
Making sure the PE uniforms are washed and in the proper backpack. 🎒
Washing water bottles.
Planning a walk with a friend.
Are you doing something similar?
Getting your 🦆ducks in a row tonight, knowing full well that the duck Planning will go awry. 🤣
I feel you, and it can be.... a lot.
I invite you to pencil in some time for movement. Dance party in the kitchen, take the dog for a walk, dust off the exercise equipment you bought in 2020, join a class.

Super excited to share that I am offering a new option for yogis in DP for 2026!
Join me on Thursdays 1-2pm at Lakeview Center.
☮️This class is designed for folks who may have limited mobility and prefer a slower, less intense approach to yoga.
▪︎With the help of yoga props, this class is more accessible and participants can take their time to make modifications as needed.
▪︎Expect more time to settle and soften for each posture as well as extra time to warm up and relax.
💗 In this Gentle class you are encouraged to meet yourself right where you are.
▪︎Thursdays 1-2pm, 1/8-2/5✨️

This class is designed for students who may be recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, have limited range, or folks who simply want to avoid going down to the floor.
☮️Chair Yoga will offer all of the benefits of a traditional yoga class while utilizing the chair to support your practice. 🪑💕

It is hard to wrap my head around it, but January is right around the corner.
And during these turbulent, challenging times, it is especially important to carve out time to care for yourSelf.
Join me for Vinyasa Yoga at Lakeview Center on Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm.
This class is designed for a more experienced practitioner and will focus on connecting breath and movement. Vinyasa Yoga will get your whole body moving, increase your heart rate, build strength, and offer tools to reduce stress.
This class will incorporate a variety of yoga poses with seamless transitions, creative sequences and a challenging pace.

Confession: I canceled my online morning yoga class so I could make birthday sprinkle waffles for Paige!
Our schedules are so full lately, and I'm excited that my kids have activities and sports they are interested in. But it means birthdays are celebrated at breakfast, because it's when we are together! 🧇 🎉

This beautiful girl is the best yoga partner. She is the chillest of chill. She is clocked in, and ready to relax.💓🐕
I am so grateful for the opportunities I have to bring yoga TO people. Happy that I can bring yoga to assisted living facilities, group homes, workplaces, libraries and more.
I have always been dedicated to accessibility, and I'm so proud of the ways I can "meet people where they are" (literally and figuratively!) 🙂
