JOB OPENING!! One Licensed Massage Therapist needed in a Chiropractic office in Des Plaines. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 am to about 6:30 pm. Tuesday, Thursday hours are from 11:00a.m. to about 6:30p.m. . Work would consist of assisting doctor with treatment of patients using clinical massage as well as performing some hourly massages as requested. When not doing massage, employee would assist with general office work which include answering phones, scheduling patients, filing, cleaning, organizing etc. Pay when massaging is $38 - $44 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Pay when doing general office work is $13 - $14/per hour. Actual massaging is about 40% - 50% of the day while the rest of the day is general office work.
