Dream Big Child Development Center is excited to announce our Spring Fling Parent’s Night Out, open to families in DeSoto and surrounding communities, coming Friday, March 6, 2026!

This will be a fun, safe evening designed just for children while parents enjoy a well-deserved break. Space will be limited, and advance registration will be required.

Our little Dreamers had an amazing time painting pumpkins during our Fall Festival! Each brush stroke was full of creativity, color, and joy. 🥳 Activities like these help our children explore their imagination, practice fine motor skills, and celebrate the beauty of the season together. 🍂🧡🍁

This week, our little Dreamers are learning all about the number 5! To help them remember, we took a hands-on approach — literally! 🖐️

Each child counted and colored their fingers to match the numbers 1–5. Activities like this help strengthen early math skills, fine motor coordination, and number recognition in a fun, creative way! 🌈

Developing fine motor control is a key milestone in early childhood education — and today, our Dreamers nailed it! ✂️🍂

Using scissors to follow the lines of their pumpkins encouraged focus, precision, and hand-eye coordination — important skills that support future writing and self-help tasks.

When I think back on this journey — the long hours, the faith it took to keep going, and the commitment to excellence for our children — we can only say: but God! 🙌🏾

Today our little dreamers had so much fun exploring science, letters, and numbers with shaving cream. 🧴✋ They practiced writing our letter of the week (Ll) and our number of the week (1) while building fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and creativity. 💡

Learning doesn’t always happen with pencils and paper—sometimes it’s about hands-on exploration that sparks joy and curiosity! 🌟

Our Dreamers explored apple stamping while focusing on our color of the week—blue and letter of the week—A. ✨

According to the Texas Pre-K Guidelines, this activity supports learning in several areas:

🎨 Fine Arts: Exploring art materials and expressing creativity.

🧠 Mathematics: Recognizing colors, shapes, and simple patterns.

🗣️ Language: Using words to describe their picture and share ideas.

💪 Physical Development: Strengthening fine motor control through stamping.

Hands-on fun like this builds early skills while keeping learning exciting! 🌟
