Please God not people! This is not always so easy, at least it wasn’t in the beginning of my journey. I don’t know many people that don’t want to be loved, accepted, and approved by their fellows! Yet in some instances when we commit to be obedient to God’s will for our lives it upsets others. What do you do then?

I have found that it has been helpful to pray! It helped me to remember that Jesus wasn’t accepted either. Jesus was accused of blasphemy. He was denied by His fellows as well as betrayed. He loved the unlovable and those people who were shunned by mainstream society. He died on the cross for all sin.

It is hard to witness gossip, ridicule, and mean behavior from adults who say they love God. We must always remember that God made each one of us in His image, we don’t have to agree with each other and we do not have to ice out people who think differently than we do! Jesus came with a new command: Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and love one another as you love yourself! Let’s remember to share that message!

God is a perfect gentleman! He does not go where He is not invited. He will never interfere with our free will. That God given gift is an opportunity to choose our path. In my case I needed every error. My stubbornness and determination were my barriers to God until they weren’t! Yet God never gave up on me!

I am grateful that God has loved me from the beginning of time to now. I can see where He tried to guide me and I can see where I went in the opposite direction! Often I chose the path that would please people. We cannot serve two masters. Today I choose to love people and serve God. In loving people I am free. Pamela Anne

It is possible to remain joyful in the midst of adversity! It is my heart to master that gift from God! There are times in life that we go through changes that feel heavy and dark. That does not mean we have lost our joy. The key is to continue to seek God. Believe that He is in your midst. Focus on gratitude or focus on the last time God showed up in a difficult situation.

In the beginning of this relationship this was difficult. Some days it still is. My experience with God is what I try to stay focused on. It is my hope that if you are going through a difficult time you know that Gods redirection is your protection. He has plans to grow you and prosper you, even if you don’t understand right now. These are not jist platitudes these are new ways of thinking that help me when life get tough! Pamela Anne

Thanking God during times of difficulty did not come easily to me. I had to be retrained from complaining and self-pity to trusting God and even thanking him I have not yet perfected this gift, but I am grateful.

I am aware today to turn to God and thank him even though I don’t understand what he’s doing. Over the years I’ve come to rely on this relationship for all of my needs. I know that the will of God will not take me with the grace of God will not protect me. I pray that we all remember that today.

Be more like God! God does not condemn us for forgetting Him nor does He hold a grudge. He is not counting how many times we ghosted Him when He was trying to get our attention. With each error He welcomes us back like the prodigal son. His arms are always open and He is grateful when we remember to call on Him!

With that said, stop beating yourself up! Get back up and do your best! Having recently gone through another battle of the mind I realized I forgot who I was. I am a beloved child of God. I know God loves me and He loves you! If you have forgotten that, call me!
