I am is running my THIRD marathon 2 weeks from today....on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 in Toledo, OH.

A simple pair of shoes I got while in recovery at Salvation Army ARC in Tampa, FL changed the trajectory of my life.
Those shoes were just the beginning to catapult and propel my desire to get and stay sober.
I run and for my many friends that did not have such a positive outcome with their addiction.
I also met some incredible people, while on the same path, who were integral to my/their success.
Myself along with Michael Lee, my accountability partner, & now business partner from Chicago, decided to launch a non-profit & MCRS was born.....
Early on in our sobriety, we identified that the transition from residential recovery to community reintegration is a pitfall for many.
Together, through our passion project of MCRS, we have made it our purpose in life to help the next guy be successful.
Michael & I are currently in our 4th year of sobriety.

Cathy is our third business partner and was responsible for crafting a majority of this introduction.

100% of your donation will go directly to MOTOR CITY RECOVERY SERVICES (MCRS.)

MCRS is a 501c3 registered tax deductible non-profit.

All fundraising will go towards securing, furnishing, and operating a transitional recovery house to provide a safe sober living environment here in Detroit.
Unfortunately not everyone reaches out for help, or has support of loved ones while rebuilding themselves through recovery.
Michael & and I would not be the people we are today without the help of the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Tampa.
We are personally invested in helping others on the same journey to success in sobriety.
