This is a Cooper Hawk. He hides in trees waiting for our pigeons to take flight. The most dangerous time of year for our doves to fly in Michigan is November to Mid April. He is part of nature and needs to survive during the cold and feed it's young in the spring.
This is why White Dove Release businesses hesitate to fly our birds during those months.
