Desmond Tutu had much to teach us during his life and even since he has passed. Our shared humanity is why the women board members of the United Black Mothers of America (unitedblackmothersofamerica) are really passionate about self-care, smashing the stigma around mental health, Black maternal health, as well as the importance of physical health. Wellness is something we text about, talk about, and practice in our own lives. To that end, we didn’t want to leave out men when it comes to mental health and little people (kids). Us mamas talked about mental health and our littles last month.💜
If you have little people (kids) in your life as a dad, grandpa, uncle, teacher, therapist, physician, physical therapist, mentor, superintendent, supervisor, professor, administrator, military personnel, friend, etc and you’re a man, UBMA invites you to attend our men and kids and mental health talk on Sunday, 1/30/22 at 6pm ET / 5pm CT / 3pm PT! 💜 https://unitedblackmothersofamerica.org/events/lets-talk-about-our-childrens-mental-health-part-2/
