www.naturalmommame.com ​The Natural Momma Me Initiative was founded after Aisha Young read an article about diaper need on CNN.com. After reading about how impoverished mothers were reusing diapers due to limited resources, that diapers were not covered under assistance programs and that potentially 12,000 children in Wayne County alone needed diapers, she knew she had to act to prevent this ‘silent crisis.’ In September 2011, The Natural Momma Me Initiative Cloth Diaper Bank, which later added disposable diapers as an option, became Wayne County’s only cloth diaper-focused organization and subsequently, a member of the rapidly expanding National Diaper Bank Network. Since then, The Natural Momma Me Initiative has been distributing diapers to babies and children in the Greater Detroit Area. We look forward to being a resource for you and your family! Good morning!

The Natural Momma Me Initiative is excited to announce our March dates for our upcoming infant safe sleep classes. Participants will receive a FREE cribette, educational materials, and supplies upon completion of the class. Attendees can also sign up for our diaper bank. Registration is required due to limited space. Please be on time. Refreshments will be provided, and children are welcome to attend.

The upcoming class dates are Wednesday and Thursday, March 18th & 19th. All classes will begin promptly at 1:00 PM.
