Some stories don’t come from film backgrounds… they come from purpose.
As the Executive Producer of The Real J.O.B. – Joys of Breastfeeding, I’ll be real — i knew how to speak in front of a camera but I didn’t come into this knowing anything about film especially as an executive producer at all.
What I did know… was that a story needed to be told.
A story about mothers being heard.
A story about what really happens during labor, birth, and breastfeeding.
A story our community doesn’t always get to see in a real, unfiltered way.
So I reached out to someone I knew could bring the vision to life — the phenomenal producer Joe Smith — and he got it done.
We’ve brought together some real voices and impactful leaders in this work, including:
