Week 3: Empowering Hearts to Save Lives ❤️⚡
All About AEDs

When sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) strikes, every minute matters. Survival decreases by 7–10% for every minute without defibrillation. An AED, used quickly, can dramatically increase a person’s chance of survival.

Here are 4 things everyone should know about AEDs:

⚡ AEDs save lives. Early defibrillation is critical during sudden cardiac arrest.
🗣️ They talk you through it. AEDs give clear, step-by-step voice instructions.
✅ They’re safe. The device will only deliver a shock if it detects a life-threatening heart rhythm.
🏠 They’re needed everywhere. Most cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals — often at home or in public places.

You don’t have to be a medical professional to be a lifesaver. You just have to be ready to act.

This week, we encourage you to:
✔️ Learn CPR
✔️ Locate AEDs in your workplace, school, and community
✔️ Share this post to spread awareness

Together, we are Empowering Hearts to Save Lives. 💛

❤️ Today is National Wear Red Day! ❤️

At JNS Health Solutions, we’re proud to support Heart Health Month by raising awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of lifesaving skills. Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death, but education, prevention, and CPR knowledge can make a powerful difference.

Wearing red today is more than just a color — it’s a reminder to take care of your heart, know the warning signs, and be prepared to help save a life when it matters most. Learning CPR and AED use can give you the confidence to act during a cardiac emergency.

Join us in wearing red, spreading awareness, and committing to heart health for yourself, your loved ones, and your community. ❤️

❤️ February is Heart Health Month ❤️
In honor of Heart Health Month, JNS is sharing 5 easy ways to show your heart some love—because small habits = big impact. ❤️

1. Eat a Heart Healthy Diet - Eat plenty of fruits, veggies, and healthy fats.  Limit your sodium intake and avoid sweets and sugary beverages.

2. Stay Active - Aim for at least 30 to 60 minutes of activity daily. The simplest way to get exercise is walking, but other options include swimming, cardio or aerobic classes.

3.  Don’t smoke or use to***co & reduce alcohol consumption - If you’re not a smoker stay away from secondhand smoke.  Chemicals in to***co can damage the heart and blood vessels.  Cigarette smoke lowers the oxygen in the blood, which raises the blood pressure and heart rate.

4.  Manage your stress - Ongoing stress can play a role in higher blood pressure and other risk factors for heart disease.

5.  GET QUALITY SLEEP - People who don’t get enough sleep have a higher risk of obesity, high blood pressure, heart attack, diabetes and depression.

We’re celebrating all month! ❤️

Repost from

is here!

Every February is American Heart Month, a nationwide observance that spotlights cardiovascular disease and the need for more lifesavers. First proclaimed in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, Heart Month began as a national call to take charge of your heart health—a mission that continues today.

How will you celebrate?
