Hitting 200 cases isn’t just a number—it represents hundreds of patients, families, and moments where precision surgical medicine made a meaningful difference.

Today, we celebrate our 200th Monteris NeuroBlate case for brain tumors at the Henry Ford Hermelin Brain Tumor Center.

From planning our first case in 2015, to becoming an early adopter of LITT in 2016, we’ve continued to grow and innovate at Henry Ford Health. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, NeuroBlate allowed us to safely treat patients when it mattered most.

I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful to the patients who trust us. Here’s to the next 200—and to continuing to lead in brain tumor innovation and care.

Congratulations, team—and sincere thanks to our patients and caregivers for placing their trust in us for laser ablation treatment of brain tumors!

Helping Kids Understand Brain Tumors

Talking to children about brain tumors can be challenging, whether they are the patient or have a loved one affected. This webinar will offer age-appropriate ways to explain the diagnosis and share strategies to support children’s emotional well-being throughout the journey.

Participants will also discover helpful tools and resources to encourage open, honest conversations within families.

ICYMI -
🎉 Exciting news from Henry Ford Health Hermelin Brain Tumor Center! 🎉

We are proud to share that we’ve officially been designated a Comprehensive Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center by the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

This recognition truly reflects the strength of our multidisciplinary team and the level of care we strive to provide for patients with neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis every day. It’s a meaningful milestone and a testament to the collaboration and commitment of our team.

A special thank you to Lisa Scarpace for leading the extensive application process and helping move us to this comprehensive designation—no small feat!

This designation raises our profile as a regional referral center and opens more opportunities to grow our clinical programs, expand our research, and continue building our NF clinical trials.
