We provided 100 cases of diapers, wipes, bottles, diaper bags, and dozens of raffle items. Our partner organizations , , , and equipped parents and other caregivers with valuable resources that support families in Detroit every day. Thanks to for hosting!

This February we celebrate Black History Month and National Black HIV and AIDS Awareness Day through knowledge, access and compassion. We’re offering free HIV testing, support, and treatment options along with food, games and a safe, stigma-free space. Call 313-365-3100 and ask for Prevention if you’d like to participate.

❄️ Cold Weather Alert – Help Is Available ❄️

With temperatures dropping into the teens and wind chills in the single digits, we are activating overnight shelters and daytime respite locations to help keep residents safe from the extreme cold.

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries will activate an overnight stand-by shelter at
📍 13130 Woodward Avenue
🕔 Wednesday, January 14 at 5 PM
🕛 Open through Tuesday, January 20, closing at 12 PM

Additional warming centers include:
• Adam Butzel Complex
• Coleman A. Young Recreation Center
🕗 Special MLK Day hours: 8 AM – 9 PM
