Meridian in Michigan (Meridian) is a government-sponsored health plan whose goal is to help individuals live better, healthier lives by providing high quality care that is both easy and accessible. We get care for the whole you from head to toe, including vision, preventive care, and mental health support. We get you the care you need, close to home with our large network of providers. We get you rewarded for healthy activities. Meridian is Michigan's largest Medicaid HMO, providing health care to Medicaid beneficiaries through a contract with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Meridian's affiliates include MeridianComplete a Medicare-Medicaid health plan, Ambetter from Meridian a commercial plan available through the Health Insurance Marketplace, and WellCare a Medicare Advantage plan. It was an incredible day at Wayne State University! This year's Strong Youth Strong Communities summit was a huge success.

Hundreds of Detroit Public Schools Community District students came together for a day of inspiration, resilience, and leadership guided by Pro Football Hall of Famers Iman McFarland, Darrell Green, and Aeneas Williams. Alongside several community partners, we empowered the next generation to dream big, overcome challenges, and build brighter futures.

Detroit showed up strong, and the impact will last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible!

Our Kids Coat Drive with the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan was a huge success! On November 15, we distributed more than 700 coats to children in Grand Rapids to keep them safe and warm this winter.

Thank you to all the wonderful families who came out, and to our staff who volunteered and made everyone feel welcome. The Hispanic Center serves over 30,000 people annually in the surrounding communities. Together, along with other donors, we’re making a real difference.

MDHHS has directed its EBT vendor to once again begin uploading full November benefit payments for SNAP recipients. Those who normally receive benefits on the ninth of the month will receive them within 48 hours, and all others will receive them on their normally scheduled date.
