The impact of triple feeding.
So often triple feeding starts as a temporary solution to resolve breastfeeding challenges and get babies back to the breast. But what ends up happening is that the underlying cause of breastfeeding problems is not properly addressed and moms end up triple feeding for months with no end in sight. This can lead to maternal exhaustion, depression, anxiety, and termination of breastfeeding. It can also lead a mom to self blame and not reaching her feeding goals with her baby. We need to interrupt this cycle. Watch this video to learn more and reach out for support.

In today’s social media culture there is more parenting pressure than ever. There is an overwhelming amount of fad parenting advice that harms moms, babies, and families. The best way to combat other people telling you how to raise your children, often for their own benefit, is to dial deeply into your and your family’s values. Once you get very clear on your core values then it is much more difficult to be swayed by anyone; including friends, extended family, social media influences, and anyone else telling you to turn away from what you truly believe. This approach can be applied to all areas of your life. Please follow this channel, so we can build our community and support moms, babies, and families and combat this sabotage.

It is easy to get swallowed up in the exhaustion of parenting babies and toddlers. If we don’t make a conscious effort, we could miss the enjoyment in these stages altogether. After spending time with my dear friend in San Diego, who is sick with cancer and her loving family, I offer reflections that stick with me upon my return home. This message is for all parents and caregivers of babies and children. Thank you so much.

There are so many pressures in every direction facing moms. Including whether to return to work or not. Many moms don’t have the choice. Some moms do. There is pressure on moms to make decisions based on peer pressure. I am encouraging you to dial in to your own instincts and not follow other people’s desires for your life. Whether it is to return to work or stay home with your babies.
