GlobeMed at Wayne State University

GlobeMed at Wayne State University GlobeMed is a network of university students that partners with grassroots organizations to improve the health of people living in poverty.

GlobeMed at Wayne State University and our partner organization, the Kigezi Healthcare Foundation (KIHEFO), work to collaborate on specific projects, organize a global health curriculum on campus, and lead trips to work with partners in communities abroad. We are playing a big role in advancing the movement for global health equity.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our story slam today! It was so great seeing our old friends and wonderful to have some new faces join us! We hope everyone enioyed! The theme of our very first story slam was fighting against social injustice and we applaud all of our awesome performers for a amazing job well done!
