The Student-Run Free Clinic was honored to join Street Medicine Detroit’s Overdose Awareness Event on November 2nd! 💜 Our team provided free blood pressure screenings, shared information about our clinic’s services, and connected with community members. It was an inspiring day of remembrance, healing, and connection, and we even found a ladybug 🐞, a small reminder of hope and new beginnings. A huge thank-you to Street Medicine Detroit, CHASS Clinic, Face Addiction Now, and the City of Detroit for hosting such a meaningful event and for bringing our community together in the spirit of care and understanding.

Yesterday was one for the books! Our annual SRFC Golf Fundraiser at Rogue Park Golf Course was a huge success ⛳️💚 Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, students, and everyone who came out, we raised $9,470 — all profits going directly to support patient care at the clinic.

A special thank you to our incredible fundraising committee for organizing this event and making it all possible 👏

We’re so grateful for this community that continues to show up for our mission. We hope you all had an amazing time — and we’ll see you next year!

We are excited to invite you to the 2025 Annual SRFC Golf Outing, a fun afternoon of golf that helps support free healthcare for our local communities. ⛳️🩺

All proceeds from this event will directly support the Robert R. Frank Student Run Free Clinic, which provides medical care for over 200 patients each year.

SRFC had the privilege of participating in the annual Parkside Health, Safety, and Job Fair on July 14th. Our team provided free blood pressure screenings and shared information about the services we offer through our clinic. We’re proud to support accessible healthcare and connect with the community we serve. Another successful outreach event in the books! 🩺💙

SRFC hosted its Dermatology Day clinic on July 12, offering free skin evaluations, treatments, and education to patients. Student volunteers worked alongside healthcare professionals to provide care for a wide range of skin concerns. Together, we had a successful day expanding access to dermatologic care in the community.

Making a difference, one kit at a time. had a fulfilling visit to SRFC, dropping off 70+ menstrual kits including everything needed for one menstrual cycle, free to all SRFC patients. Excited for the progress we can make together toward menstrual equity!
