The Green Cross Detroit is a professional medical marijuana certification and educational center using holistic approach providing chiropractic and massage therapy as well as legal services. The Green Cross Detroit was created to provide qualified patients with physician certifications for the use of medical marijuana. This certification is required in order to obtain valid a medical marijuana ID card from the State of Michigan.*
Our fully licensed doctors conduct their legal and ethical duties in full compliance with Michigan Medical Marijuana Certification guidelines. The Green Cross Detroit abides the Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Act, where a physician must state in writing that the patient has a debilitating medical condition that qualifies them for medical marijuana treatment. At the Green Cross Detroit, we offer our patients compassionate care. We respect our patients’ privacy and ensure that all consultations are kept private. At the Green Cross Detroit, we understand that some patients are reluctant to try medical marijuana as an alternative to traditional medications. However, countless patients have found the use of medical marijuana effective as a therapeutic drug for cancer treatment, chronic pain treatment and other medical conditions. Patients who qualify for registration with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program after doctor review will receive a signed State Certification form that allows them to apply for the Michigan Medical Marijuana Identification Card.

* Medical marijuana became a legal treatment for Michigan residents in November 2008. Acceptable terminology for the treatment includes “Medical Marijuana” or “Medical Cannabis”

Our reputation as the most responsible choice for medical marijuana certification is important to us. Therefore, we have implemented the Attorney Protection Plan to protect the interests and privacy of our patients. The Green Cross Detroit arranges an attorney consultation for every patient who is certified by our Michigan medical marijuana doctors. Patients have the opportunity to discuss any questions regarding the legal use of medical marijuana with an attorney who is experienced in the area of medical marijuana laws. The Green Cross Detroit covers the cost of the legal consultation as a gesture of thanks to the patients who choose the Green Cross Detroit for medical marijuana certification.
