In February, the Go 4 It: Send Some Love event, hosted by WDIV Local 4, brought together community members to create heartfelt, handwritten cards and letters for seniors, active military members, and foster children.

One recipient, Patricia Allen, a senior recovering from surgery, shared how much the thoughtful messages meant during her recovery. Regina McIver also expressed her appreciation, noting how special it felt to receive a handwritten card in today’s digital age, a reminder of the warmth and connection behind a personal note.

Stay tuned at detroitseniorsolution.org for more opportunities to spread love, kindness, and connection throughout our community.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT!!

Two months later, and we are still swooning over our 2025 G.A.L.A. Fashion Show, an experience designed to honor the brilliance of older adults, challenge ageist narratives, and create space for meaningful reconnection and new friendships.
