A free clinic, we provide examinations, maintenance and preventive healthcare for underinsured women and men. Open weekdays, it utilizes a staff of physicians and nurse practitioners, many of whom volunteer their time, in the areas of: gynecology, internal medicine, podiatry, physical therapy, health coaching, and nutrition. Originally launched in December of 2008 by SAY Detroit and the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries as the nation’s first free medical clinic devoted to homeless children and their mothers, the clinic has expanded its reach to adult patients with limited income, in transitional housing and employment situations, and who are homeless. Accepting patients from all over the Detroit area, the clinic averages more than 4,000 patient visits annually.

SAY Detroit is truly special – it’s a community of self-motivated students, a community of willing patients, a community of passionate volunteers and a community of dedicated employees who choose it. And donors and supporters who choose to help.

In fact, we just published “A Year In Review,” (read it here: https://bit.ly/SAYDetroitImpact2023) which highlights just how much of an impact supporters like you made on the lives of Detroiters in need, including:

— $3,650,000 raised from 2,158 donors

— 3,309 patient visits at the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic

— 8,000+ homework assignments completed and checked at SAY Detroit Play Center

We thank you for coming to the table and choosing to support this special organization. If you'd like to continue making our mission to provide pathways to success possible, check out the donate link at the end of the report.

With your help, over in Highland Park, more patients will receive top-notch health care at our clinic. Help us meet the match!

All those Giving Tuesday and Cyber Monday "extended deals" emails making you 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫?

It's a lot, we know. We're probably one of them!

But Karson and Karter — twin fourth graders who attend our after-school program at the SAY Detroit Play Center — are here to share with you a special opportunity to DOUBLE the value of your gift, at any amount.

In celebration of the 2022 SAY Detroit Radiothon, a generous and anonymous donor will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000, up until the event begins December 8. (Save the date!)

That means your donation will do even more to support SAY Detroit’s mission to provide learning, health care, and housing pathways to success for Detroiters in need.

More children will improve their grades and find joy in sports, STEM, arts, and music at the SAY Detroit Play Center. Students like the very loquacious Karson and Karter, who really love to dance with the Detroit Culture Youth Company (they recently performed at a Detroit Pistons game!) This is their second year attending SAY Play. In between their martial arts classes, they are preparing for this Thursday's Winter Showcase at the center.

And with your help, over in Highland Park, more patients will receive top-notch health care at the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic.

And more homes will be safely renovated and given to hardworking families who are experiencing a housing crisis. We'll be sharing stories — with the help of WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit - of two special families who now have a rehabbed house to call home through our Working Homes / Working Families initiative.

It's a lot. We know. But with a match, a little goes twice as far.

If you'd like to help and want to double your impact, click here to give to the Radiothon early and help us meet this match challenge ↠ https://mitchalbomradiothon.com/donate-now.php
