✨ Today wasn’t about a haircut. It was about becoming. ✨

For more than 20 years, I wore my hair short.
Not because I loved it—but because I had to.

As a classroom teacher and reading specialist, time was limited. Money was tight. Styling, products, fancy salons weren’t part of the equation. My hair stayed the same: short, professional… dull… safe.

But that version of me has evolved.

I’m no longer in the classroom.
I teach yoga and meditation.
I host a radio show.
And I’m a proud Nana now. 💙

And the old haircut?
It no longer reflects who I am.

So today, I didn’t get a haircut.
I visited a salon.

I sat with someone special—Rebecca Leach, owner of Third Eye Barber. We met months ago when I interviewed her for my radio show, and we instantly vibed.

Rebecca doesn’t just cut hair.
She listens.
She creates space.

A hot towel.
A face massage.
Natural products worked gently into my hair.
A conversation about where I’ve been—and where I’m going.

I showed her photos of what I’m envisioning: longer, freer, more expressive. She offered thoughtful guidance on how to get there—without rushing the process.

And just when I thought the experience was complete…
She did a 3 card reading for me. 🔮

So no—I didn’t leave with a haircut today.

But I left with clarity.
With intention.
With permission to grow into the next version of myself.

✨ A whole new me is unfolding. ✨

👉 If you’re ready for more than just a haircut—if you want an experience—go see Rebecca Leach at . Tell her Anita sent you.
This is where transformation begins.

This week, I’m joined by Anthony Bizzotto , President and Co-Founder of Revive of the USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit integrating fitness, community, and recovery support to strengthen mental health, addiction recovery, and long-term wellness.

Anthony courageously shares his own journey through addiction, hitting rock bottom, and how faith, family, and church helped him find recovery. Today, he’s turned his life experience into a mission—helping others heal through evidence-based fitness and supportive community programs.

This is a powerful conversation about hope, resilience, and recovery. 💙
