Meet Juanita Frias, one of our amazing CDSP here at LRC!

💬 Why did you choose to work in this field? I’m passionate about supporting children who experience the world in unique ways. I love being part of their growth—whether it’s communication, independence, or confidence—and I find it incredibly meaningful to help create an environment where they feel understood and supported.
❤️ What do you enjoy most about your role? The best part of this role is knowing that the support I provide makes a real difference in a child’s daily life. Helping them build independence, navigate challenges, and celebrate progress is something I find deeply meaningful.
✨ A moment at work that made you smile: There is so many it is hard to choose.
🎉 Fun fact about Juanita: I enjoy new experiences and exploring the joys of life. I have a cat his name is LaVey and he is 4 years old. I enjoy good coffee!

💬 Why did you choose to work in this field? It started as a trial job, and I quickly grew to love the work. Everyday has a challenge, but the rewards are greater.
❤️ What do you enjoy most about your role? To see the successes, smiles, and self-pride of the people supported when they make an achievement, whether it be big or small.
✨ A moment at work that made you smile: There is something in every day that makes me smile. It can be an achievement or a fun moment.
🎉 Fun fact about Vicky: I love to go four wheeling, the Green Bay Packers, I collect snowmen, and I love highland cows. I have 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy), and 8 grandchildren (5 girls and 3 boys).
