Today for Farm Day, our students engaged in a hands-on craft activity where they created their own sheep using toilet paper rolls and cotton balls. This activity encouraged creativity while also helping to develop fine motor skills as the children carefully assembled their materials. The students had a wonderful time exploring textures and bringing their farm animals to life.

For farm day, the Terrific Tigers smeared some brown paint on little piggies 🐷 to give them a "mud bath"!🤎🫧

Today for Farm Animal Day, the kids had so much fun getting a little “messy” with our pig mud activity! They used brown paint to create “mud” on their pig cutouts, exploring different textures and getting creative with how they spread it around.

This activity was great for building fine motor skills as they used their hands and fingers to paint, while also encouraging sensory play and imagination. The kids loved pretending their pigs were rolling around in the mud just like real farm pigs!

We had lots of smiles (and giggles!) during this activity—such a fun and engaging way to learn about farm animals! 🐖✨

Yeeehawwww and Howdy!!! Our Brave Bears turned into farmers this morning, and we got to be hands-on by milking a cow! It was a fun and messy good time, and we discovered where milk comes from.

Today, our students engaged in a hands-on creative activity where they used recycled materials such as toilet paper rolls, colorful wrapping paper, and vibrant feathers to design and build their own birds. The children explored their creativity by selecting different colors and textures, carefully assembling their materials, and adding unique details like eyes and beaks. This activity not only encouraged imaginative expression but also supported fine motor development as they practiced gluing, placing, and constructing their creations. The students were excited to bring their birds to life and took great pride in their finished projects!

For today’s activity, the children created their own colorful parrots! They practiced holding and controlling their markers while coloring different sections of their bird. We talked about colors and how parrots are known for being bright and vibrant. The children showed great concentration and creativity throughout the activity!

For today’s activity, the kids participated in a feather color sorting game! They were given different colored feathers and worked on separating them into groups by color. Once they finished sorting, they practiced naming each color in both English and Spanish. They did a great job!
