Santa’s Workshop 2025

This year, we welcomed about 70 kids for a fun-filled day with Santa, complete with games, crafts, food, and plenty of holiday festivities. We are so happy to be able to kick off the holiday season with these wonderful kids! 🎄🎅✨

November Dewey Beach Lions Club Meeting Recap

We had the pleasure of welcoming Erin Wienner from the Clayton Lions Club as our guest speaker for the November meeting. Erin gave an engaging talk about Delaware’s environment and shared simple, meaningful ways we can all help protect it — including planting flowers that attract bees, which play such an important role in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

We also celebrated the induction of three new members: Carol Hannity-Tun, Philip Anderson, and Melissa Kortas. Welcome to the Lions family!

In addition, April Raimond was recognized with a pin for recruiting outstanding new members, and Ducky Scheetz received the prestigious Lifetime Membership Award. Congratulations to both!

We’re so fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring group of members who truly make a difference in our community.

“Where There’s a Need, There’s a Lion”

The Dewey Beach Lions are collecting new and gently used winter coats (sizes 1 year through 18) for families in our community.

We’re also continuing our tradition of supporting Toys for Tots by collecting new, unwrapped toys for local children.

Please bring your donations to the December 4th meeting or Santa’s Workshop on December 13th.

The Dewey Beach Lions Club Blood Drive Was a Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out on October 8th to donate and support our community. We had 26 whole blood donors and 2 double red donors, collecting a total of 30 units of lifesaving blood!

A big shoutout to all of our incredible Life Savers — your generosity truly makes a difference! 💉🩸🦁

The Boardwalk Buddy Walk will be held this Saturday, October 11th at 9:00 AM at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. This year marks the 20th anniversary, and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating all the amazing things this organization does for our community.

Highlights from the Dewey Beach Lions Club Annual Golf Tournament at The Rookery! ⛳🦁

We had a record turnout with 29 foursomes this year and raised over $15,000 for our charities! 🎉 We’re so proud to support these incredible organizations:

• Small Wonder Warriors
• Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding
• Rehoboth Community Resource Center
• Camp Arrowhead

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, golfed, and volunteered to make this such a successful and fun day. We couldn’t do it without you! 💛
