Did you see that I have a new TH sound activity for TH-anksgiving?

It's a super fun, easy at home activity or warm up in session for kids that pairs with literacy, tradition, and creativity!

The TH sound is difficult for kids because of tongue placement, airflow control, voice vs voiceless sound, and sometimes comes out as D or F sounds.

The minute to win it challenge officially has a sequel!

Everyone enjoyed the R challenge so much, we now have the TH challenge. Another difficult sound for kids to master is the TH sound. It can often come out sounding like the /f/ or /d/ sound instead of /th/.

This free activity worksheet is perfect to practice TH sound at home or in session.

Just print it out, grab a timer and pen, and soon your child will begin getting TH sound with automaticity.

It is a fun, engaging play activity where you celebrate every small win and begin to see their confidence with TH sound blossom.

We love to show you how to practice that hard R sound, but November is the perfect time to switch things up and focus on another difficult sound: TH.

It's found in a lot of different phrases specifically THANKSGIVING, so focus on traditions to make speech practice fun with the TH sound.

Happy Halloween from Peggy's Speech Therapy! We've been busy working on our Home Run Speech Program behind the scenes and can't wait to show you more in the future!

For the time being, we wish everyone a safe and spooky Halloween, celebrating fall! Don't forget, we crafted multiple October worksheets and activities you can use as you celebrate Trick or Treating, visit a pumpkin patch, or craft your own fall-themed scavenger hunt! All available on my website, along with less themed R activities.

Imagine a world where you think the hard r sound is impossible to say. It would be pretty rough right?

Well it doesn't need to be! I've successfully helped children, adults, teens, and young adults learn how to pronounce the r sound at the beginning, middle, and end! It is one of the trickest sounds in the English language, but that doesn't mean you, your loved one, or client should give up!

I've crafted the Home Run Speech R Program to battle that pesky r sound and help individuals speak confidently and clearly at any age.

The Home Run Speech R Program is a hybrid approach to speech therapy. Where the SLP (speech language pathologist), client, and parent work together with intensive sessions, at home practice, and playful activities.

All designed by me! Peggy of Peggy's Speech therapy. With extensive knowledge and decades of experience successfully teaching the R sound, this program cultivates a fun and educational speech therapy experience for the client where you can see (and hear) real results!
