Mateo looked like a “typical” baby, but his body was telling a different story.

Severe eczema left his skin inflamed, itchy, and painful. To keep him from breaking his skin, he wore baby mitts almost 24/7…which began to slow his hand development. At the same time, Mateo hadn’t gained weight for months, leaving his family exhausted and worried.

This one's a heavy one! And a lesson that we have had to learn many times. Even too much good, like all of these tools and techniques, still overwhelms an already dysregulated nervous system that needs some repair. For almost 10 years, this mama has been searching for answers for her sweet boy. 💙

There is nothing more exhausting than loving your child with your whole heart… and running on empty for years. 🤍

One sweet mama shared that her little one hadn’t slept through the night in five years. Five years of broken sleep. Five years of middle-of-the-night wakeups. Five years of wondering if this was just her “normal.”
