The Spring Blowout event is rapidly approaching, with a little more than two weeks remaining. We are capitalizing on today's favorable weather to ready the field. Our preparations have resulted in notable improvements, including the acquisition of new grounds, the installation of an additional awning at the runway's midpoint, and the extension of the runway to accommodate our attendees. We anticipate that you have made or are making arrangements to join us for an enjoyable weekend.

Lets start talking about the Spring blowout event at the dexter Barnstormers RC Club. May 14-17 less then a month away we are excited to get this year's event going. We have more sponsors being added daily. Please share this around and let's make this year the biggest yet. We have gotten confirmation from Bob Smith Industries and Tom the amsoil guy they will be sponsoring out event this year. We will be posting pictures of the raffle items.

Today looks to be the first great day of 2026 to enjoy our wonderful hobby. We will have a group of members at the field from around 10 till later in the afternoon if you want to come amd join. Welcome new members and family to come enjoy this great day with us.

The Annual Chili Fun Fly was a great success. Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed the good food and company. The pavilion was able to keep us all warm and we thank everyone for coming.

We are still having the Chilli fun fly this Saturday. We will be eating at noon. Dress warm and come enjoy.

We have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s upcoming event due to inclement weather. The ground conditions are expected to become impassable, and with heavy saturation, our facilities will not be able to accommodate trailers, campers, or heavy traffic without causing significant damage.

We’ve worked incredibly hard to maintain our grounds, and we do not want to risk long-term damage to our parking areas.

We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize. Our goal is to give everyone as much notice as possible, and we will announce the rescheduled date as soon as it is confirmed.
