π 98th National FFA Convention! π
What an incredible week our chapter had attending the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana! From learning experiences to unforgettable adventures, this trip was one for the books!
We are beyond proud of Taaron Drake for earning her American FFA Degree β the highest honor an FFA member can achieve! Watching her walk across that stage was an inspiration to us all and a reminder of what hard work and dedication in this program can lead to. π
Our trip was packed with fun and learning! We:
π― Visited Hunterβs Honey Farm, where we learned the βbuzzβ behind honey production, bottled our own honey, and even taste-tested different kinds!
π·π Explored Fair Oaks Farms, touring both the pig and dairy farms to see agriculture in action.
π± Celebrated our trip with dinner at a local favorite Japanese steakhouse, where we enjoyed great food and even better company.
π€ Attended multiple convention sessions, heard from national officers and a guest speaker from California, and explored the Expo Center, meeting colleges, businesses, and FFA members from across the nation!
π Enjoyed a hilarious hypnotist show β especially since a few of our own members were part of the fun!
π Took a behind-the-scenes tour of Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.
βΎοΈ Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum, where we learned how bats are made for both pros and fans alike.
π¦ Dined at Joeβs Crab Shack, giving a few of our members their very first taste of seafood!
π€ Ended the week with the Three Hills Rodeo, an awesome way to wrap up our convention adventures.
A huge thank you goes out to our administration and booster club for their continued support β none of this would be possible without you! ππ
We came home with full hearts, new friendships, and even more motivation to keep growing as leaders in agriculture. πΎπͺ
