We are in Jamaica Beach today at the Galveston West Beach Lion's Club 'Tis the Season Market craft show, telling people about CERT and handling out the Galveston County Disaster Guide books.

Thanks to all of the volunteers and new CERT members who took place in our drill on Bolivar this weekend. Our next academy will take place in 2026! If you would like to be a part of our Nationally Award winning team, please sign up for an academy.

Join us for the last academy of the year! The training is free and anyone 13 years old and older can complete the CERT training! Learn Incident Command, fire safety and suppression, light urban search and rescue, and general preparedness and response by completing the CERT Academy. We want you to join us by following the link and registering to attend!
The academy will be held at Jamaica Beach City Hall on October 10, 11, 12, 17, and 18. You must attend all dates. Look forward to seeing you there!
