To kick off Thanksgiving week we had our Resident Staff Side Dish Stand Off! 5 delicious dishes were voted on! The side dishes were; Potato Green Bean, Cream Corn, Shrimp Dip, Kickin Corn & Sushi! Our winners were Terry K. - Sushi. Alexis L. - Cream Corn. Cindy B. - Shrimp Dip. Good job!! Thank you all who participated and all that taste tested these delicious dishes.

Forrest “Stan” Sharkey was hopping freight trains out of Indianapolis and living under a bridge in Bismarck. By 15, he was working nights as a hotel elevator operator for just $1 a day. He still chuckles as he recalls the characters he met and the stories that came with the job—just a glimpse into the many colorful memories he shares with his trademark humor.

This week at Edgewood Hawks Point:
On Tuesday we honored and celebrated our Veterans! With respect honor and gratitude, we thank you! We finished the day by watching “The Court Martial of Billy Mitchell.”
On Wednesday we were visited by the Balyeats and the Fasts to bring us music and joy to our afternoon.
Today we celebrated our November birthdays and had our monthly birthday party with music by Ernie Hecker! Great tunes Ernie!
