Today we say goodbye and celebrate the life of Babygirl — a sweet soul who became so much more than just a dog. She was a familiar face to many in our community, faithfully by Mike’s side through every season of life. Their bond was a reminder that love, loyalty, and companionship don’t depend on circumstances — they simply exist where hearts find each other.

Babygirl brought comfort, smiles, and gentle moments to everyone who met her. She was deeply loved by Mike and cherished by a community that watched over them both. Her presence will be missed on our streets, in our daily routines, and in the hearts of those who stopped to pet her or share a kind word.

Babygirl passed away on March 6th, leaving behind memories of unwavering devotion and the simple joy only a loyal companion can give.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Taylor Funeral Home for their incredible kindness and generosity in offering to provide Babygirl’s cremation at no cost. Your compassion ensured she was treated with dignity and care, and it means more than words can express.

Rest easy, sweet Babygirl. You were loved, you mattered, and you will not be forgotten. 🐾

This Sunday, October 5, 2025, we will come together as a community to honor and celebrate the life of Carter Smith, who meant so much to so many. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.

If you are participating in Carter’s final tribute by driving an emergency vehicle, dump truck, or motorcycle, please review the parking instructions carefully and help us keep everything organized and respectful.
