Help For Veterans, Inc. Our mission is to assist veterans in Dillon County, South Carolina, who are in need. We are all volunteers.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To help find assistance for homeless and low-income veterans in Dillon County, SC, through involvement with the local community and businesses as well as other government and national organizations. In addition, to help them obtain optimal levels of healthcare, education, and training that will enable the veterans to enter into society at a level the veterans have earned and deserve. OTHER INFORMATION:
Help For Veterans, Inc., is a 501(c)3 organization 100% of all donations will be used for Veterans in Dillon County, SC; there will be no salaries taken.

Did you know VA offers many programs and services to help Veterans and their families manage, secure, and protect their financial resources and well-being?

The following programs and resources are available for Veterans:
• Financial Counseling: Veterans Benefits Banking Program (VBBP) offers access to free financial counseling and education. VA also provides free financial counseling to beneficiaries of life insurance programs to help Veterans create budgets, reduce debt, improve credit, and set savings goals.
• Financial Resources: VA provides financial assistance programs and resources for Veterans and their families facing financial challenges.
• Fraud Awareness: VA offers resources to help Veterans, and their families protect themselves from fraud and scams targeting Veterans.
• Legal Services: VA provides free legal services to Veterans, including assistance with wills and trusts, and operates legal clinics at VA centers.

VA provides support explicitly designed for Veterans available at va.gov/REACH/ as well as fraud resources (https://benefits.va.gov/benefits/banking.asp) to help Veterans with money management and other life challenges.
