April's calendar is finally here. Join our (free) fitness classes, and don't forget our spring plant sale, Saturday, May 2nd from 8-12 pm. Reminder, cash and checks only.

Reminder: Clean Community Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th at two convenient locations; 6600 Courthouse Road and the PG convenience center, 3100 Union Branch Road. (Open to PG county residents only.)

Tonight, the Friends of Burrowsville School and the Burrowsville Community Center were honored to award Stephen Thompson, Eagle Scout, a certificate of appreciation for the completion of the accessibility ramp. Additionally, Steven gave the Friends of Burrowsville School the balance of the funds raised, which will go to make additional improvements to the community center.

Congratulations Stephen on making Eagle Scout and making this significant improvement to the community center. We appreciate it!!

Discover Birds & Citizen Science will be presented on Monday, March 9th at 3:30 at the Burrowsville Branch of the Appomattox Regional Library. This program teaches how to identify local bird species and explore the best field guides and birding apps. They will also teach you the exciting world of citizen science and demonstrate how to contribute your observations to real research projects, like Project Feederwatch.

The program is free and open to the public.
