Recently we had a long time patient come in for a routine visit for her chronic hip pain. She had noted that her pain had "spread" to her abdomen. Upon examination, her treating therapist had noticed some red flags and referred her to her PCP that day for evaluation. That night she had an emergency appendectomy.

Exciting changes have been happening at your local PT clinic! Dr. Kaicey started full time 2 months ago and has had GREAT patient outcomes. We have been able to provider greater access to healthcare services than ever before. With our two full time PT’s, we have had more flexibility to see patients in acute pain the same day, or at least within a couple of days. We have also been able to see more patients for specialty treatment sessions such as women’s health, pelvic floor PT, and dry needling.

At the same time, we are part way through some clinic transformations. We renovated our treatment rooms to provide a clean and comfortable setting with a relaxed vibe for your treatment sessions.

As always, thank you for choosing us for your rehab needs. We look forward to continuing to help our community heal!

The SmartCare PT team had a fun day at Oakdale Country Club for the annual Dirigo Boosters Scramble! We are looking forward to next year.

We hate to see our local athletes get hurt, but we enjoy getting them back on their field/track/court as quickly as possible. We prioritize appointments for our youth athletes, often with same day appointments. Usually, you can skip the PCP office and just give us a call. Good luck to the Cougars, Falcons, and other surrounding teams this Fall!

🌟 Big News at SmartCare! 🌟

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Kaicey Conant, PT, DPT as our newest full-time physical therapist starting July 7th!

Many of you already know Kaicey — she is from Canton, a former Dirigo student athlete, and she's been part of our team on Fridays for over a year, helping to get you all back to doing the things you love. Her specialization in women’s health and pelvic floor therapy, along with her skills in orthopedic and general PT, makes her a perfect fit for our clinic and community.

For the last year, our schedule has been jam-packed, and we know many of you have had to wait longer than you'd like to get in. With Kaicey joining us full time, we're excited to open up more availability — and give you even better access to expert care!
