I don’t know if we’ve ever done a proper introduction!

My name is Laura - I’m an esthetician and the owner of Bare Skin Beauty Spa in Dixon, IL. 🤍

A little about me so you know what you’re getting into when you book an appointment with me:

•I’m a wife and a mom to 5 amazing kids!
•I have a BIG passion for the gym and working out and met my husband basically through bodybuilding! He messaged me on FB to do a show together and the rest is history. Now I have a forever workout partner. (Also I used to be a personal trainer and miss doing it sometimes.)
•I love being outdoors and during any of the warmer months when not at work you’ll catch me home with the kids outside riding 4 wheelers, fishing, chasing chickens and what ever else comes our way.
•I’m “crunchy” but not die hard crunchy. I’m a good happy medium. We choose better options when we can but we also enjoy life and don’t let it control every aspect of our choices.
•My music choice is all over the board. There is not much I wouldn’t listen to and appreciate. From Christian music, to rap, to emo, to country, to rave music… literally just put what ever song on and I’ll probably know the words or atleast enjoy it.
•My love language to give is gift giving. I LOVE getting gifts for people. Finding things to make someone’s day or make them smile just is top notch for me. My love language to receive is quality time. There is nothing better to me than someone choosing to spend their time with me because time is the one gift you can never give back. But I’ll always accept chocolate or coffee! 😆
•I have a deep love for animals. Seriously if I had the time, money and resources I would have WAY TOO MANY animals. I only discriminate against snakes. They just weird me out with their slithery bodies.

That’s all for now but I know sometimes picking someone new to go to can be intimidating but now that you know a little about me it won’t be so bad, right? 🤪

We love this hand held version because you can use it for so many uses besides just the face. Although we do still love the red light masks this one can just be used for so much more than just your face and the same price as some of the quality face masks out there!

It’s a busy day here at the spa today for both Mina & I but a little update on a few things!

All preorders from our Eminence sale should arrive on Friday according to the shipping company! 👀 Let’s pray they don’t have any delays on us!

Our schedules are booking up and with that being said don’t delay on getting your appointment on the books AND be careful rescheduling as we are having to push clients our further than we would like with busy schedules! (Which we are so thankful and blessed just is a bummer when you can’t get in as soon as you’d like due to a cancellation!) Also reminder to take a peek at our cancellation policy if it’s been a while and you need a little refresh on what ours is! ☺️

As you can see from a few of our posts recently NEW products and NEW treatments will be hitting the menu for you very soon! One we haven’t announced just yet but you’re going to seriously LOVE IT! The anticipation for that treatment to arrive is killing us. 😅 Trust me cause we’ve been stalking the delivery drivers daily for the stuff to come in so we can finally announce!

You may have also noticed we haven’t been as present on socials. Hello pregnancy….I feel like I’ve finally caught up a little and can put some mental focus back on this end of business because for a while with the tiredness and nausea we were just surviving over here. So we are going to try and be back to social media business per usual! With that being said comment below some things you’d like to see from us! Whether it’s product knowledge, the day to day spa life, business side, before & afters, etc.! We’d be happy to share! 🤍
