Sinnissippi Centers, together with Serenity Hospice and Home, invite you to join us for Blue Christmas — a gathering for those who are grieving or struggling during the holiday season.

The evening will include gentle music, words of encouragement, and quiet moments of remembrance. As Serenity’s Bereavement Coordinator, Denise Caldwell, shares: “It’s okay to not feel joyful during the holidays. There is strength in coming together, honoring our grief, and finding light in the company of others who understand.”

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome. 💙

💚 It is National Grief Awareness Week | Theme: “Growing with Grief” 💚

Grief is something we all experience in different ways. It can come from the loss of a loved one, a change in life circumstances, or even the end of something important to us. Grief takes many forms, and each one deserves compassion, understanding, and the space to be honored.

The theme “Growing with Grief” shows us that even through loss, we can discover strength, empathy, and even connection.

⬇️ Ways to honor this week ⬇️

- Take a moment to remember someone or something meaningful to you.

- Reach out to a friend who may be grieving and simply listen.

- Share your story. Talk to someone you trust about your own grief because opening up can be healing.

- Offer practical support. Bring a meal, help with errands, or just sit together quietly with someone who needs it.

Grief is part of being human. Support is here, healing is possible, and together we can grow through it. 🫶🏻
