Thank you so much Full Circle Wellness & BirthCenter for having all of us out!!

Kasson Fire and Rescue Kasson Police Department

This is community.

Before opening a freestanding BirthCenter in a rural community, I had a mission to bring together all community providers for trainings to assure high quality, safe, and positive outcomes if a maternal/neonatal emergency arises.

The amazing part? There was no hesitation by these outstanding providers to come together with us. We all have the same goals: healthy mom & baby with safe & quality care for them. Every drill, we all learn something new from each other & grow to understand how important all of our roles are…it’s truly an amazing & we look forward to this every quarter.

Live in action, our 4th quarter emergency drill. I am amazed by the care & heart by each and every one of these groups & SO proud to come together with them!

Thank you Kasson Fire and Rescue, Kasson Police Department & Dodge Center Ambulance for your dedication & commitment not only to do this every quarter with us…but each & every day for our community!

Happy Rural Health Day, from one of the many rural ambulance services! 💗

🚑 Happy Rural Health Day, Minnesota! 🌾

Our rural EMS professionals are the backbone of health and safety in communities across the state. In places where distance, limited resources, workforce shortages, and transportation barriers create unique challenges, EMS teams continue to show up with resilience, skill, and compassion.

Rural EMS is more than emergency response. It is community connection. It is problem-solving under pressure. It is innovation born from necessity. And it is a vital part of Minnesota’s rural health system, supporting the wellbeing and economic vitality of the regions you serve.

Today, the Minnesota Office of Emergency Medical Services thanks every EMT, AEMT, paramedic, medical director, dispatcher, and first responder keeping rural communities safe—often with fewer resources but never with less commitment.

Your dedication embodies the spirit recognized in today’s proclamation, and Minnesota is stronger because of you. 💛
