Week 8 of our intergenerational program was Minnesota Jingo!

Our Residents and the Triton High school students came together for a fun game filled with Minnesota-themed clues and great conversations. From familiar people and places, it was wonderful to see everyone sharing memories and working to get a Jingo!

There was plenty of excitement, friendly competition, and teamwork throughout the game. Activities like this continue to build meaningful connections between our Residents and students.

Week 7 of our Intergenerational Program was a blast!

This week, our Residents and the Triton highschool got creative with a fun “Finish the Drawing” activity. It was really neat to see all the different ideas come to life as each group worked together to turn simple shapes into unique and sometimes hilarious creations!

There was plenty of laughter, creativity, and great conversation as everyone shared their ideas and brought their drawings to life.

Week 6 of our Intergenerational Program was full of energy, laughter, and fun!

This week, our Residents and student volunteers teamed up for a variety of sports and target games, including bean bag toss, ring toss, ball toss, and ping pong toss. Students worked alongside Residents- encouraging them, keeping score, and celebrating every great throw!

We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Week 5 of our intergenerational program was a hit!

This week, our Residents and Triton students came together for a fun game of Bingo. We had students stepping up as callers while others joined Residents at the tables, helping them play and sharing in the excitement.

There were lots of smiles, laughter and a little friendly competition along the way. Bingo is always a favorite, and it was a great opportunity for connection between generations.

We are already looking forward to next week!

Today we celebrated with a facility wide Easter Egg hunt followed by a wonderful Easter social hour filled with delicious hors d’oeuvres and great company!

It was so special seeing our Residents and staff come together to enjoy the fun, laughter, and sense of community that days like today bring.

Week 4 of our intergenerational program with students from Triton High School is in the books.

This week brought all of the spring VIBES as we played Springtime Jingo together. It was filled with smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition. Our Residents and students continue to build such special connections, and it’s amazing to see the growth of the students and see the joy this program brings to everyone involved.

Today we enjoyed Week 3 of our intergenerational program with students from Triton High School.

This week we focused on word searches, crossword puzzles, and working on puzzles together. It was a great mix of teamwork, conversation, and friendly competition. Residents and students had a wonderful time challenging their minds while sharing lots of laughs and building on new connections.

We are so grateful for these moments that bring generations together, already looking forward to next week!
