Thanksgiving arrived a little early at the YMCA Village of Allapattah —and it was a beautiful day of community in action!
United HomeCare®, Independent Living Systems (ILS), and Florida Community Care teamed up to provide shelf-stable meals and warm holiday cheer to local seniors. City of Miami Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela, District 1, joined the celebration with generous turkey donations and more, ensuring every table will feel a little fuller this season.
Our seniors also enjoyed a lively round of Nutrition Bingo —with prizes for all! Laughter, connection, and joy filled the room… a perfect reminder of what Thanksgiving is all about.
