United HomeCare® recently hosted a warm and heartfelt brunch to celebrate the November birthdays of our Caregiver Support Program members, incredible individuals who give so much of themselves every single day.
Led by Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez-Viada, LCSW, MPH, our Caregiver Support Program is dedicated to helping caregivers feel supported, empowered, and never alone on their journey. Through monthly in-person and virtual support groups, hands-on training, and practical resources, we help reduce stress and strengthen caregiving skills that make a real difference at home.
The program also offers:

🔹 Free educational sessions for individuals balancing work and caregiving
🔹 Guidance on community referrals & long-term care planning

Carlos Martinez, President & CEO, and Terry Cartaya, Home Health Administrator, highlighted UHC’s trusted role as a provider for all Florida Medicaid Managed Long Term Care Plans—delivering compassionate care through a dedicated workforce of 1,300 Home Health Aides, employees not independent contractors, united by our mission of caring.
Bridget Smith, Director of Case Management at Sunshine Health, thanked Case Managers for the vital role they play in ensuring seniors receive the highest quality of care. She reaffirmed her heartfelt commitment and encouraged staff to reflect, recharge, and connect with loved ones during the holiday season.
